Academia buurtwag kook

ANHW het toestemming by die Windhoek munisipaliteit bekom om die gras en indringerbosse in dié woonbuurt te verwyder. Verlede Saterdag is die groep se eerste skoonmaakveldtog gehou, met patroleerders en inwoners van Academia wat 'n gedeelte van die rivier in Socratesstraat begin opruim het.

Daar is van vroeg af gewerkskaf en altesame 22 sakke rommel (papiere, bottels, plastieksakke en meer) is bymekaar gemaak. Vier bakkie- en vyf sleepwavragte vol takke en bosse is deur die loop van die dag weggery. Die projek is nie net om die omgewing skoon te maak nie, maar ook om dit veiliger en makliker te maak vir patrolleering. Alle foto's verskaf
