Employees benefit from bursaries

FNB Namibia recently announced that another 54 employees received bursaries for tertiary education assistance. The bank's Staff Assistance Trust Education Bursary was established ten years ago to help employees and/or their dependents with these educational costs. The latest study directions of the bursary students include Bachelor of Accounting, Advanced Diploma in Banking, Finance and Credit, Bachelor of Communication, BComm and Bachelor of Law, to name but a few, all at NQA accredited institutions. According to chief human resources officer Andrew Kanime, 25 employees / dependents benefitted with funding towards tertiary education costs in 2017. “We believe that by taking care of our employees, they will take care of our customers.”
