Thieves still on the run
Yolanda NelNo suspects have been caught after N$220 000 was stolen from the Nampost branch at Epukiro last week.
“The money has also not been recovered,” said deputy commissioner Chris Kalimbula of the Gobabis police station. “We are still busy with the investigation, but no new information is available,” he said.
The robbery took place on 13 June while the branch's only employee was counting money. Three men entered the building and demanded the cash. One of the men was armed with a pistol. The employee surrendered the money and the suspects fled. The incident was reported to the police an hour later.
