Two beautiful productions for children are on stage in the National Theatre this month.

First off, from 18 to 20 July, is Tselane and the Giant. This NTN Children's Theatre production is aimed at creating awareness surrounding the recent phenomena of missing persons and children by telling the story of little Tselane to an audience aged between 5 and 20 years. The audience is taken on a magical journey with Tselane, along with her positive peer educators and role models that develope among young girls and boys. It is directed by Veronique Mensah.

Tickets cost N$80 and N$50 for learners, students and senior citizens. Show times are at 19:00 each evening, along with a matinee on Saturday 20 July at 14:00.

Next up, from 25 to 27 July, is Cinderella and her Prince - the College of the Arts' annual ballet production in collaboration with Cape Town City Ballet. Directed by Robin van Wyk, this breath-taking production promises to whisk audience members off into an enchanted land of fairy tales.

The shows take place at 19:00 every evening, with the matinee at 15:00 on Saturday 27 July.
