Hotel Deutsches Haus situated at 13 Lüderitz Street in the vibrant heart of Swakopmund, offers a variety of food for the locals and travellers alike at their Namib Restaurant.

The restaurant caters for any taste, featuring a huge variety of delicious meals and also wine of the highest quality.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner specials are available daily and can be enjoyed indoors or outdoors on warm African summer days.

With their motto “Dein Zuhause in der Ferne” which means ‘your home away from home’, the serene atmosphere of the restaurant along with friendly staff makes one feel right at home.

The Namib Restaurant offers an a la carte menu, with meals ranging from prawns, oysters and fish, to grilled meats, chicken and steak. Special provision is also made for vegetarians and the restaurant also offers a gluten-free and kiddies menu.

Lunch is served with the soup of the day perfectly complimenting Swakopmund’s cool weather.

A selection of fine wines is available to go along with the dishes and can also be enjoyed on the rooftop terrace. The venue also features two bars and a roadside beer garden.

The recently added deck restaurant is the perfect venue for wedding receptions, baby showers and parties.

In addition, the owners of the hotel, Thomas and Hiltrud Ehbrecht who reside in Duderstadt, Germany, are busy with plans to add more rooms to the existing 27.
