Armchair safari on Tuesday

On Tuesday (29 January), Alfred Schleicher hosts a public talk in English titled Safari in East Africa – then and now.

Back in the years 1979, 1981, 1987 and 1990 they were able to organise/conduct overland trips from Germany to East Africa. Their destinations were the beautiful nature and specially the national parks, reserves of Kenya and Tanzania. After a break of 26 years, Alfred was able to visit these well-known landscapes and national parks of these countries again.

During his power point presentation, Alfred talks about the wildlife, people, the changes happened over the years and the situation today.

The presentation starts at 19:30 and entrance is free.
