Beroepsvoorligtingkonferensie vir graad 11’s en 12’s

Akademia bring akademie en praktyk bymekaar met ’n gratis virtuele beroepsvoorligtingkonferensie wat vanaf 26 tot 29 Oktober van 09:00 tot 11:00 eksklusief vir graad 11’s en 12’s gehou word.
Akademia het besluit om hierdie konferensie aan te bied om belangstellendes toe te rus met die nodige kennis om deurdagte toekomsbesluite te neem.
“Dikwels besef studente eers in die middel van hul studies dat ’n kwalifikasie nie is wat hulle verwag het nie,” sê Mareli Rall, projekkoördineerder van die beroepsvoorligtingkonferensie. “Met hierdie konferensie, hoop Akademia dat ons kan help om onsekerhede sommer vroegtydig al op te klaar.”
Akademia se voltydse akademiese aanbod vir 2021 word tydens die konferensie van alle kante bekyk. Akademici gaan onderskeie kwalifikasies deurtrap terwyl uitgesoekte persone vanuit die praktyk hulle persoonlike beroepservarings gaan deel. Boonop kry belangstellendes die geleentheid om beroepsrelevante vrae aan hierdie persone te rig.

“Jy ontmoet dalk net die regte persoon en word later ’n uitstekende pos aangebied. Of wie weet, dalk prikkel die konferensie ’n nuwe beroepsbelangstelling en voor jy jou oë uitvee het jy ’n kwalifikasie in hierdie rigting voltooi.”

Hierdie beroepsvoorligtingkonferensie is net een van die maniere hoe Akademia bydra daartoe om afgeronde studente aan gemeenskappe te lewer.
“By Akademia wil ons nie net studente akademies oplei nie, maar ook opvoed sodat hulle gereed is vir hulle loopbane,” sê Rall. “As ek voor ek studeer het die geleentheid gehad het om waardevolle beroepsvoorligting te ontvang, het ek dit beslis met albei hande aangegryp.”
