Blou Willem trek nuwe baadjie aan

Yolanda Nel Die immergewilde koffiekroeg Blou Willem, se deure het dalk in die suidelike nywerheidsgebied gesluit, net om verlede week in Prosperita te heropen.
Ek sal erken, dit het soek gekos om die nuwe perseel in Copperstraat te kry en het ek ’n paar keer verby gery. Die nuwe adres was ook nog nie op sosiale media opdateer nie. Maar, volgens die eienaar, is hulle nog besig met advertensieborde en dekor vir die nuwe perseel.
Die hoë dak, sementvloer en hope natuurlike lig, verseker ’n rustige atmosfeer.
Met die opening, het Blou Willem ’n spesiale koek-en-koffie aanbieding gehad en vir ’n sakpasprys van net N$20, kon ons dit eenvoudig nie misloop nie. Dit was ’n heerlike uitstappie en die sjokolade-karamel koek die kroek die moeite werd. Die varsgebak van kombuis na toonbank het my ook opgewonde gemaak om weer terug te gaan. Die personeel is vriendelik en flink, en het ons glad nie lank gewag vir ons bestelling nie.
Blou Willem bied ook elke middagetes aan vir diegene wat in die omgewing werk en nie tyd het om huis toe te gaan nie. Die nuwe perseel het baie meer spasie en is daar sitplek vir 24 gaste. Juis dít was ook ’n groot rede vir die trek na die nuwe gebou.
Indien jy in die Prosperita area werk of lus is vir iets wat nie in ’n winkelsentrum is nie, is Blou Willem die perfekte alternatief. [email protected]
