Ná 'n tiener vroeër vanjaar aan die Magnificent Women International skoonheidskompetisie in Indië deelgeneem het, het sy met haar terugkeur reeds met liefdadigheidswerk begin.

Anina Oosthuizen, wat die Mej MWI Namibië-titelhouer is, kon met haar terugkerr nie wag om 'n verskil in haar gemeenskap te maak nie. “Die matriekafskeid is om die draai en ek kan nie help om te dink aan kinders wat nie uitrustings daarvoor kan bekostig nie,” het sy gesê.

Dit is om dié rede wat sy die “Borg 'n matriekafskeidrok-projek” begin het en het sy reeds van die mooiste rokke en dasse ontvang.

Tydens 'n modevertoning wat onlangs by Town Lodge plaasgevind het, het die Mej. Biltongfees-finaliste hul lyf model gehou om die rokke te vertoon. “Tydens die geleentheid kon ons reeds vyf gelukkige meisies met rokke vir hul groot aand help,” vertel Anina.

Behalwe vir die lodge wat as hoofborg vir die modevertoning opgetree het, is Anina dankbaar vir die insette van Mikeljes en Kickstart, sowel as Helene's Photography en Emily Dangwa. Hardap Fast Freight het ook gereed gestaan om die rokke te vervoer.
