Buig-buig die klas in

'n Idee wat een plaaslike kleuterskool juffrou op sosiale media gesien het, verskaf nou pure genot vir die kleuters in haar klas.

Antoinette Nel van Kleuterkapperjolle in die hoofstad, het 'n plakkaat in haar klas opgesit met vier maniere waarop die maatjies mekaar kan groet.

“Hulle kan kies tussen 'n drukkie, 'n high five, 'n fist bump of hulle kan buig,” verduidelik sy.

“Hoe jy 'n maatjie groet moet vir jou gemaklik wees en daarom was dit

belangrik om hulle deel van die aktiwiteit te maak,” sê sy.

Hoewel Antoinette met die eerste skooldag die groeter was, kry elke kleuter nou 'n beurt om voor in die ry te staan om maatjies te groet en hulle geniet die aandag vreeslik baie.

Sy sê dit is twee minute wat die klas uit hul dag neem en dit leer die kleuters om mekaar te respekteer.

“Die groeter kan nie besluit hy wil nie 'n maatjie high five en eerder 'n drukkie gee nie. Hy moet sy maatjie se keuse respekteer."

Jy kan ook uit hierdie keuses aflei wie is die teruggetrokke kinders omdat hulle drukkies verkies, teenoor die hansworse in die klasse wat 'n

snaakse buiging wil maak,” lag sy.

“Dit is iets so eenvoudig wat vir hulle soveel genot bied.”
