Chalk gymnasts head to Finland

31 October 2019 | Sports

Chalk Gymnastics and Performance Training has sent six of their top gymnasts and their coach to compete at the Fincup 2019 taking place in Helsinki, Finland on 1 and 2 November. This prestigious international Trampoline and Double Mini Trampoline (DMT) competition is organised by EsTT and Espoo.
Chalk opened its doors at the beginning of 2019. With the assistance of founder Funni Duncan, club parents and logistics partner Absolute Logistics (Holger Jensen), the club recently acquired equipment that is on par with the latest international standards. This apparatus consists of Euro trampolines, Mini and Double Mini trampolines, a tumbling track and various safety and landing mats.
Says Duncan: “The aim for my gymnasts is to gain international exposure and experience in tumbling and trampolining at an international level.”
Coming from an international competitive artistic gymnastics background, Duncan is confident that her athletes will benefit tremendously from this experience.
