Cycle here on Tuesdays

The NFC's training and development officer Hella Rust, spearheads the training that imparts the technical aspects of using these bikes for racing.
Rust said that the aim of hosting these training sessions is to create a platform where young Namibians can learn to fall in love with cycling at the tender age. “We want to produce more cycling champions and that can only happen if the young people are given an opportunity to cycle and love what they are doing,” she said.
WWP bought the road bikes and also pays for the venue where the training takes place.
“Training is free, therefore I encourage all parents who want their kids to cycle to bring them to Tony Rust on Tuesdays, where we will train then and share tips,” she said.
Participating cyclists also get the chance to competing in cycling events in their age categories during competitions.
The training sessions take place on Tuesdays from 16:00 to 17:30.
