Dennis and Peka take the titles

07 July 2019 | Education

It was an evening of glitz and glamour when the Deutsche Höhere Privatschule (DHPS) and its Student Representative Committee hosted the annual Mr and Miss DHPS pageant.

At the end of the event, it was Dennis Horstmann and Peka Karamata who took home the respective crowns.

The idea was not only for participants to present themselves elegantly on the catwalk, but also about convincing the jurors with eloquent answers and of their great personality. And all 11 participants certainly achieved that.

Presenting their talent on the catwalk in warm winter fashion and elegant evening dress, they also confidently answered critical questions posed by the jury, skilfully performed group dances and introduced their charity projects.

Other awards went to Camilla Olivotto (best-dressed participant), Umuna Muetudhana (best dancer), Saskia Piehl (most charitable participant), Damian Ham (most photogenic participant); Megan Platt (Miss Personality); Devlin Constable (runner-up Mr DHPS); and Beatrice Maasdorp (1st princess).
