Double date at DHPS

03 March 2019 | Education

Preparations are in full swing for the DHPS’s annual open day and cultural festival scheduled to take place on the school premises next Saturday (9 March).

On that day, the school opens its doors from 08:00 to 11:00 and interested parties have the opportunity to gain exciting insights into lessons and the school’s classrooms. In addition to scientific experiments and linguistic presentations, visitors can get an impression of the “Kulturfest” workshops, their sport and music offerings and enjoy coffee and rolls, while staff answer questions and show you around the school campus.

Later that same day, at 18:00, guests are invited to the final exhibition of the DKR Cultural Festival, which is being hosted by the DHPS from 7 to 10 March. The results of the festival under the motto “Treff.Tiere – Deutschland trifft Namibia” (Animal rendezvous – Germany meets Namibia) can be viewed in the DHPS auditorium.

Besides works of art, visitors can look forward to a colourful and lyrical supporting programme.
