Double whammy book launch

20 August 2018 | Local News

Barry de Klerk – The National Library hosts two book launches – A Code Named Progress and Kanime: The Book – next Friday at 17:00.

Publisher TrUth-Tone Review heads the launch in collaboration with the authors, and both are locally inspired, with Namibian themes that speak to the world.

A Code Named Progress is based on real life events. It reveals our inner code and is marketed as a transformational piece of writing. The publisher promises that more of the book’s story and background will be revealed at the launch.

Kanime: The Book is set on the dusty plains of the Uukwambi battlefields. This story takes place during a time when tribes are about to settle one of their greatest disputes. In the end the tribes will see who emerges as the true warriors of the land.

Both books were written by local authors and are published locally. With these works the publisher hopes to reach out to readers and the launch serves as the perfect opportunity for readers to meet and interact with the writers and publishers.

Tickets for the launch are already on sale and can be reserved by sending an e-mail to [email protected] The books cost N$300 each.
