Elemotho & co at the Warehouse

Local singer/songwriter Elemotho delivers his latest show at the Warehouse Theatre tomorrow evening, when he and his band Modern Nomads invoke the spirit of their ancestors with his melodies and rhythms before hitting the road for his international tour to HIFA (Zimbabwe), WOMAD (Spain), Afro-Pingsten (Switzerland) and other stops along the way.

In Kalahari Invocations the UK award nominee delves into his history to bring glimpses of the traditional Setswana sounds that influenced his music. For tomorrow's show, Setwana Cultural Group Makgoa Ngwao who feature on his album Beautiful World, also make an appearance. Zimbabwean loop artist Tatenda opens the show.

The concert starts at 20:00. Advance tickets via Events Today cost N$120, or N$150 at the doors.
