Bringing together the sector.

The Association of Estate Agents of Namibia (AEAN) host the country's first-ever Property Expo later this month, creating a platform for anyone looking to further their property journey whether it is buying, selling, renting or investing.

The expo, supported by Bank Windhoek, brings together all brands under one roof, including financial service providers, estate agents, developers, conveyancers and additional services.

According to the Property Expo's Project Manager, Amanda Geldenhuys, their aim is to establish a strong relationship between relevant stakeholders in the property industry.

Bank Windhoek's Property Finance Sales Manager, Nancy McNab, says the bank believes this event will provide visitors with a fantastic opportunity to engage with all the role players in the property industry.

Besides the presence of exhibitors from the property industry, agents and attorneys, McNab encourages the public to visit the Bank Windhoek Property Lounge for networking purposes during the event.

During the course of the event, AEAN hosts estate agent information sessions featuring invited property industry experts who cover topics including Technology in Real Estate; Property Valuations; Photography in Real Estate; Grooming your home to sell/Home Staging; and Water Wise Gardens, to mention a few.

Visitors can expect to be entertained by a lucky draw consisting of a hot air balloon flight, a jumping castle and other activities for children. Food and refreshments will also be available for sale.

“AEAN aspires to represent all registered estate agents in Namibia as a professional body of knowledge, advice and support, thereby contributing towards the social and economic upliftment of the property industry, Namibia and its citizens,” Geldenhuys said.

The expo takes place Friday, 26 and Saturday, 27 July 2019 at the Sport Klub Windhoek (SKW) in the capital.

Gates to the two-day event are open from 09:00 to 17:00. Entrance costs N$40 for adults and non-AEAN members, N$20 for children from 12 to 18 years, and free entrance for AEAN members, children under 12 and pensioners.
