Roan Ash, een van Suid-Afrika se mees suksesvolle country-blues kunstenaars, se musiek is al meer as 30 miljoen keer op digitale platforms gekyk, en kry Namibiërs die kans om saam te kyk met sy jongste konsert wat nou aanlyn beskikbaar is.
Ash se album Whiskey to my Soul wat in 2018 uitgereik is, het die pad vir sy musiekloopbaan suksesvol geloods. Apple Music het drie van Roan se liedjies, “Little Things”, “If I Ever saw Heaven” en “Whiskey to my Soul” gekies vir hul Apple Music, A-list Country Playlist. Laasgenoemde liedjies het die nommer een posisie op verskeie Suid-Afrikaanse radiostasies behaal en beide se musiekvideos het meer as drie miljoen kykers op YouTube bereik. Binne ’n jaar het hierdie gewilde album Platinum-status bereik.
Roan Ash het ’n unieke verhoogteenwoordigheid en sy musiek vertel stories wat gehore diep raak. “My inspirasie kom hoofsaaklik van persoonlike ervarings, maar ek skryf ook soms oor fiktiewe karakters en stories. My musiek is ’n uitbeelding van wat ek self graag na wil luister.”
Ash tree op saam met Dawie de Jager op baskitaar, Matthys Maree op klavier en Riaan Diedericks speel die dromme.
