Swapo bevraagteken aanstelling van Gobabis HUB

Die Swapo-distrikskoördineerder vir die Omahekestreek het die wyse waarop die Gobabis-dorpsraad met die aanstelling van sy uitvoerende hoof (HUB) te werk gegaan het, bevraagteken en gesê die proses is deur ongerymdhede geteister.
Liberius Kalili het aan Pius Nganate, goewerneur van Omaheke, geskryf en gesê die dorpsraad gaan voort met die werwingsproses in stryd met die beste praktyke vir plaaslike owerhede.
Die dorp is tans sonder ’n uitvoerende hoof ná die dood van Ignatius Thudinyane in Julie.
“Die munisipaliteit van Gobabis het op 4 November begin met die kortlys van die HUB-pos, wat gefasiliteer word deur Batseba Schubert van die munisipaliteit van Gobabis en Dina Uanguta van Witvlei dorpsraad, albei juniors.
“Dit is strydig met die gewone praktyk waar die ministerie van stedelike en landelike ontwikkeling van die begin tot die einde betrokke is, wat gedoen word om enige begunstiging in die proses te vermy,” het Kalili beweer.

Ongegronde bewerings
Sylvester Binga, voorsitter van die dorpsraad se bestuurskomitee, het die bewerings betwis en gesê die korrekte prosedure word gevolg.
“Op die oomblik is daar geen ongerymdhede nie; dit is net datavaslegging wat gebeur het. Ons het geen onderhoude gevoer nie, net datavaslegging.”
Volgens hom het die raad twee uitvoerende hoofde van die dorpsraad geraadpleeg om met die proses te help.
“Vir die kortlys is ’n lys name voorgestel. Ons sal later vergader en as die bestuurskomitee die name aanvaar, sal ’n kortlys opgestel word,” het Binga gesê.
Hy het bygevoeg dat Swapo geaffronteerd voel omdat dit nie in beheer van die proses was nie.
“Hulle het ’n probleem, want dit is nie Swapo nie. Hulle maak valse beskuldigings,” het hy gesê.
Intussen dien Steve Adonis as waarnemende HUB.
