Top estate agents awarded

21 October 2019 | Banking

Bank Windhoek celebrated its top real estate agents for the central region at an awards ceremony, where the award for the Top Estate Agency in terms of value in both residential and commercial properties went to Yellowsqaure Properties Trust’s Dickson Swanepoel.
Hot on his heals were Hermanus Dreyer from Aqua Real Estate Trust and Elna Esterhuizen from Elna Esterhuizen Properties, who received a silver and bronze award respectively.
Aqua Real Estate Trust also won gold as Top Achiever in the commercial property category ahead of Paul Kruger of Pam Golding Properties and Kestodia Tobias of Divine Realtors.
In the residential category, Horatius Abrahams of Immaculant Real Estate won the top honour followed Elna Esterhuizen from Elna Esterhuizen Properties and Uripi Kahorongo of Sell Fast Real Estate & Auctions CC. Abrahams also received recognition as the estate agent with the highest volume of transactions.
Addressing estate agents at the event, Bank Windhoek’s Managing Director Baronice Hans said: “Despite the sluggish economic climate in general, there is a drive in all of us not only to survive, but to thrive. Owning a home is a clear indicator of stability not only for families but contributes to a level of confidence in the economy. The performance of estate agents in Namibia during this time speaks to resilience, adaptability and a knuckle-down attitude.”
