Training camp in January

The camp takes place from 3 to 6 January at the Independence stadium in Windhoek, and is open for toddlers, learners in primary and high school, as well as for advanced athletes.

The kids’ athletics section for 6 to 9 year olds, focuses on the principals of all athletic disciplines like sprints, hurdles, high jump, long jump and shot put. During the course of the training, the young athletes will learn all the necessary aspects and techniques in order to find their main discipline when older.

Senior primary school learners can choose between High jump, long jump and sprints; long jump, hurdles and sprints; shot put, discus and javelin; or middle- and long distance

The camp takes place from 08:00 to 12:00 every day.

Scholars in high school can choose one from the following categories: Sprints, hurdles and middle- and long distance; high jump, long jump and triple jump; or shot-put, discus and javelin. This training takes place from 08:00 to 12:00 and again from 15:00 to 18:00 every day.

Fees for toddlers, kids’ athletics and primary scholars are N$450, while costs for those in high school is N$480. Registration takes place on 3 January at 13:00.
