Winter Knights come a-knocking

15 April 2019 | Social Issues

The annual Round Table Namibia Area Winter Knights project takes place on 7 June at various intersection in Windhoek, Swakopmund and Walvis Bay. During these two very chilly hours, the Winter Knights collect cash, blankets, clothes and canned food with the assistance of sponsors and good Samaritans. The cash will be used to buy blankets, which will be distributed together with the donated items to struggling communities all over the country by the Knights. The success of this project is only possible thanks to the generosity and continuous support of the Namibian nation as a whole, even in the midst of a struggling economy. Various means and avenues for donating towards this selfless project have been established and will be communicated in due course on various platforms and media. To begin with, the gentleman of Round Table handed over a token of appreciation to Radio Wave 96.7 to bookmark the 10th anniversary of this partnership (pictured here).
