O&L Ramblers tournament promotes young players
The O&L group, in conjunction with Ramblers Football Club, announced the launch of the O&L Ramblers Soccer Academy Tournament last week.The tournament will take place between 29 to 31 July at the Ramblers Football Club stadium in Pionierspark.
The annual soccer academy tournament will showcase various teams in the following age categories: U/7 – 5-a-side (eight teams), U/9 – 5-a-side (10 teams), U/11 – 7-a-side (eight teams), U/13 – 9-a-side (8 teams), U/15 – 11-a-side (eight teams), U/17 – 11-a-side (eight teams), U/19 – 11-a-side (eight teams).
With a total of 58 teams participating, this event will be a big youth tournament poised to promote and enhance young players and academies.
Rambler's Football Club chairperson Sedrick Van Turah stated: "We’re all very excited to host this tournament for the 13th time, where we get to highlight the skill and potential the Namibian youth have and are capable of."
