• 18:00 The last edition of Komisch Elektronisch for the year takes place at the Wolfshack. Tickets cost N$40.

• 19:00 Hallelujah Namibia with top South African artists like Elvis Blue, Juanita du Plessis and Louis Brits along with local artist Ponti Dikuua & the Collective Singers, Clive and the Now Generation perform at the Windhoek High School stadium. Tickets cost between N$125 and N$300.

• 19:00 Charming & Colourful Yunnan, performed by an arts troupe from China in the NTN. A second performance is hosted on Sunday at the same time. Tickets: N$100.

• 18:00 An exhibition by Unam’s art students opens at the National Art Gallery whereafter visitors can continue to admire the works in the FNCC gallery. The exhibition run until 7 December at FNCC, 20 January in the NAGN foyer, and 3 February at the NAGN.

Thursday 9 November

• 18:00 Being Here, a group exhibition at StArt gallery at The Wolfshack (Grüner Kranz Complex) includes sculptures, paintings, textiles, performance, and mixed media, bringing brings together six different artists’ voices expressed through a diverse range of media and methodology. View until 1 December.

• 19:00 Aspoestertjie in the NTN. Based on the fairy tale Cinderella, this romantic comedy has been adapted to incorporate nuances that will leave adults in stiches, whilst the little ones will be enchanted by fantastical costumes, dance and song. Tickets N$150. A second show takes place on Friday at the same time.

• 19:00 Based on the fairy tale Cinderella, Aspoestertjie is romantic comedy that has been adapted to incorporate nuances that will leave adults in stiches, whilst the little ones will be enchanted by fantastical costumes, dance and song at the National Theatre.
