What's next for desert lions?
Can the desert lions be saved and if so, how?This is the theme of tonight's Land Rover Owners (LRON) social evening taking place at the Old Wheelers Club.
The desert-adapted lions of the Kunene region are under threat and many are killed during or due to human-lion conflict. To avoid this situation, DeLHRA – Desert Lion Human Relations Aid – assists communal farming communities in conservancies burdened with human-lion conflict, with the prevention, mitigation and management of this complex problem.
