Big weekend awaits at Rössmund Golf Club

Rössmund Golf Club is preparing to host two popular events at Swakopmund this coming weekend.
For the Michelle McLean Golf Day on Friday 5 December, a full field has entered. The format is three-ball alliance scramble drive (two scores to count) on all holes, with a shotgun start.
From the next day, the 2025 Bachmus Oil Rössmund Open will be contested over 36 holes on Saturday and 18 holes on Sunday morning. Entries close today, with the titles of the defending champions Henry Mudge IV and Wilmari Woest up for grabs.
• Last Saturday the club hosted the final competition in its 2025 Medal Master Merit List series sponsored by Pescanova/Novanam, with Miguel Tordesillas on hand at the prize-giving.
A field of 30-plus golfers took to the fairways in excellent golfing weather in search of those sought-after prizes of boxes of delicious fish.
There were two-clubs from Douw van Wyk and Mark Jacobs.
The medal winners for November were Mark Jacobs (overall) on 67 nett; A Division, Douw van Wyk (71 nett); B Division, Chris Magson (70 nett); C Division, John Horne (70 nett); Ladies Division, Rina Knight (70 nett); Junior division, Rudi Auseb (70 nett).
The Medal Masters for 2025 were Hans Naobeb (men), Rina Knight (women) and Rudi Auseb Jr (juniors).
