WAP’s Carli honoured in SA

Carli Janse van Rensburg of Windhoek Afrikaans Private School was the only Namibian to be honoured with inclusion into the All Star dream team selected after the Kloof Netball Festival hosted by Waterkloof High School in Pretoria last week.Van Rensburg, playing as wing attack, was the captain of the Windhoek Affies under-15 team at the tournament in which more than 1 050 schools netball players from many top schools in South Africa competed. Only seven players in each age group were honoured with the All Stars selection.
Windhoek Affies competed with its u14, u15, u17 and u19 teams, while Windhoek High School and Edugate from Otjiwarongo were also represented.
Another highlight for WAP was when its under-14s were honoured as the team of the day after Thursday’s matches.
