The National Art Gallery's new exhibition, 'Indifference', opens tomorrow (13 July) at 18:00. The word "indifference" can have numerous interpretations. The purpose of the exhibition is to try to understand this terminology from a few different perspectives.
Indifference is an adaptation of the exhibition Good Neighbours – a joint project between the art gallery and the Nirox Art Foundation in South Africa – and brings together the work of five different artists, namely Saima Iita, Ismael Shivute, Fillipus Sheehama, Kambezunda Ngavee and Nicola Brandt.
The exhibition foregrounds works that question the nature of indifference/indifference/apathy and is further enriched by the gallery's collection of the artists' work.
