A celebration of women

All In – Inspire Inclusion
A collection of work by artists Anne Lacheiner Kuhn, Dörte Berner, Foibe Amundaba, Ina Maria Shikongo, Jo Rogge, Lynette Musukubili and Nicole Schaller opens at the Franco-Namibian Cultural Centre on Wednesday (6 March) at 18:00.
Hosted by the European Union Delegation to Namibia, the exhibition is in celebration of International Women’s Day. Themed Inspire Inclusion, this exhibition serves as a platform for Namibian female artists to showcase their empowering artworks, reflecting a celebration of creativity and diversity.
The event starts at 18:00, with artworks on display and for sale by way of auction, with proceeds beyond to the reserve price set to be donated to a Non-Governmental Organisation supporting women empowerment initiatives in Namibia.
EU Ambassador to Namibia, H.E. Ana Beatriz Martins, emphasised the significance of this exhibition, saying, “This exhibition not only highlights the artistic prowess of Namibian women but also contributes to fostering inclusivity and women empowerment”.
She encourages the community to join in celebrating the talent and resilience of Namibian female artists.
The exhibition is hosted by the EU Delegation to Namibia in partnership with the Franco-Namibian Cultural Centre, The Project Room and RMB Namibia.
The exhibition can be viewed until 12 March.
