Dancers headed to the international stage

It was an evening of glitz and music in Okahandja with performances by some top Namibian artists in aid of eight dancers from the town who were chosen to represent the country at an international competition. Connect Dance Studio's Night @ the Theater served as a fundraiser for the dancers who qualified to take part in the International Fine Arts Association (IFAA) International Dance Competition in Mauritius in September. In addition to performances by Namibian artists Vaughn Ahrens, Lize Visser and Ricki G, various local talents were also part of the event, making their debut on stage.
