Namibia’s Figures Models scores big at project AIM
Local modelling agency Figures Models Namibia is celebrating an exceptional achievement following their participation in the prestigious Project AIM competition, where their models secured multiple titles, top placements, and valuable international opportunities. “We are beyond proud of what our team has achieved,” said Juanita Dahms. “This journey has been unforgettable, and it is incredibly rewarding to see their hard work translate into real opportunities on an international level.”
Among the standout achievements, Erika Rasch claimed victory in the Swimwear Division under M1 Fashion Models. Faith Niigambo delivered an outstanding performance, winning Swimwear, Commercial Print and Runway, as well as TV Beauty. She also placed third in Fashion Print and Runway, earned second place overall, and was crowned Child Model of the Year. Brielle also impressed judges, securing second place in Fashion Print and Runway and being named first runner-up for Child Model of the Year. She further teamed up with Selena De Barros to win the Animal Kingdom category. Additional wins included Azaria Matcovich taking first place in Strike a Pose, Jay-Lynn Husselmann earning third place in both the Jeans Division and Makeup Division, Le-Roshaan Julius achieving second place in the Makeup Division, and Taonga Sinkala winning the TV Beauty category.
Beyond the titles and placements, the competition opened international doors for several models. Johaney Greeff was awarded a modelling contract with KAD Models agency in India, marking a significant milestone for both the model and the agency. In addition, several Figures Models talents were scouted by international agents, with opportunities to travel to Germany for modelling work and to participate in commercial projects abroad.
“These opportunities are life-changing,” Dahms added. “It’s not just about winning titles, but about growth, exposure, and building real careers in the industry.” Figures Models continues to position itself as a leading platform for young talent in Namibia, focusing on development, confidence-building, and creating pathways to international success. “This is only the beginning,” said Dahms. “The future is incredibly bright, and we are proud of each and every one of our models.”
