Toast to Trio Feminale

The Namib Primary School hall in Swakopmund was packed for the first 20th anniversary concert hosted by Trio Feminale.
The three ladies received a thunderous applause and shouts of appreciation from the audience when the curtained closed.
When Christa Lambrechts (violin), Christiane Ast (piano) and Susann Kinghorn (violoncello) met more than 20 years ago in Swakopmund, it was love for making music together right from the start.
Being able to join their three instruments to bring harmony and joy to people through the universal language of music for 20 years is extraordinary, arguably making them the longest existing ensemble of this genre in the country.
In the past two decades they made music together in thunder, lightning, rain and sunshine across the country. The support they enjoy from Namibians allows them to follow their passion by presenting concerts, playing for business anniversaries, performing at hundreds of weddings, birthdays and elsewhere.
Their next concert together with young talented musicians and a few guest artists will be on 28 June in Swakopmund.
