Trio Feminale celebrates twenty years

In August 2004, the coastal ensemble Trio Feminale, consisting of Christiane Ast (piano and saxophone), Christa Lambrechts (violin) and Susann Kinghorn (cello), performed in public for the first time at the opening of the Weylandts furniture store in Swakopmund. This marked their founding year. For the past 20 years since then, the three women have been together through thick and thin and sent melodies from all over the world into the universe from Namibia. Whether for business anniversaries, weddings, milestone birthdays or dinner evenings for tourists, the Namibian trio has always managed to spread joy through the universal language of music. For their 20th anniversary, the trio will host several concerts and also play music here and there in the cafés to delight audiences.
