Angula takes the lead at LMFSN
Melvin Angula has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Letshego Micro Financial Services Namibia (LMFSN), a position he assumed on 18 December 2023. With a distinguished 16-year career, Angula brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his new role, transitioning from the telecommunications sector.Angula has a proven track record in spearheading digital transformation and delivering cutting-edge customer services. His success in formulating growth strategies and achieving market leadership, coupled with exceptional communication skills, has marked his career. LMFSN expects that Angula's extensive experience will further enhance its micro-lending services.
One of Angula's notable achievements includes being recognized by TM Forum as a Digital Transformation Driver in Namibia. Additionally, he played a pivotal role in the successful listing of a prominent telecommunications company on the Namibian Stock Exchange, showcasing his outstanding leadership capabilities.
Angula's educational background includes an Executive MBA in Business Analytics from Eaton Business School in Dubai, UAE; a Senior Management Development Program (SMDP) from the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa; and a Certificate in Telecommunication Policy, Regulation, and Management from the University of the Witwatersrand. Combined with his National Diploma in Information Systems Administration from the Namibia University of Science and Technology and various technology and management certifications, these qualifications underscore his comprehensive knowledge base.
