Mariantha Fryer joins Capricorn Group
Capricorn Group announced the appointment of Mariantha Fryer as group brand manager in its Group Brand and Corporate Affairs Department, effective 1 September 2025.With nearly 25 years of experience in strategic marketing, brand building, and communications across diverse industries, including automotive, financial services, education and advertising, Fryer brings a wealth of expertise to the role. Her appointment marks a significant step in Capricorn Group’s ongoing commitment to strengthening its brand presence and stakeholder engagement.
In one of her previous roles, she served as head of brand marketing and creative services at Bank Windhoek, where she played a pivotal role in shaping the Bank Windhoek brand into the strong monolithic Capricorn brand recognised today. Her hands-on experience in digital marketing, public relations, user experience design and executive-level brand strategy positions her as a dynamic leader capable of driving innovation while maintaining brand authenticity.
In her role as Capricorn Group’s brand manager, she will lead the development and execution of integrated brand strategies, oversee high-impact campaigns, ensure consistent brand messaging across all subsidiaries and platforms, and enhance the group’s visual brand language. She will also manage strategic sponsorships and support stakeholder engagement initiatives.
