Ngula new e-Money Head

Candy Ngula assumed the role of Bank Windhoek's Head of Electronic Money (e-Money) effective 1 February 2024.
James Chapman, the bank's Executive Officer of Retail Banking Services and Specialist Finance, announced her appointment, highlighting Ngula's focus on enhancing e-Money's value and overseeing its growth within Bank Windhoek’s Retail Banking Services.
Ngula, formerly the Deputy Director of Oversight, Licencing, and Policy in the National Payment Systems Department at the Bank of Namibia (BoN), brings expertise in digital payments. Her regulatory role allowed her to influence developments in the financial sector, contributing to advancements in digital payments and innovations.
Chapman acknowledged Ngula's pivotal role in driving digital innovation during her tenure at BoN, emphasising her contributions to strategic efforts.
Ngula, with a background in Information Systems and ongoing studies for a Master of Science in Engineering Business Management at the University of Bath, has demonstrated commitment to professional development.
Bank Windhoek congratulated Ngula, expressing best wishes for her success in leading e-Money initiatives.
