Metro Namibia has re-imagined its store design and footprint so it can give customers more of what they love while incorporating features that build on its commitment to healthy, comfortable, and affordable living.Furthermore, Metro has now elevated the in-person shopping experience by launching entirely new store formats: Metro Fresh and Metro Home. These new layouts give customers a distinctive reason to visit their tried and trusted Metro brand — and more importantly – give the right enhanced experiences.
The new stores are located in the Metro Hyper building in Kleine Kuppe, which now houses a one-stop shopping experience for customers, leveraging years of research and learning to create both the updated store design and an evolved store strategy to debut the newly expanded footprint.

Metro Fresh
The modernised Metro Fresh store offer includes an expanded full range of fresh and frozen products, farm fresh fruit and vegetables catering for all Namibians and suit everyone’s budget. This also comes with a fresh and frozen butchery, which provides local A-grade quality beef, lamb, pork, game, and poultry, import wet-&-dry aged meats and special boerewors types with many other meat cuts presented by Metro’s head butcher and his team.
Metro Fresh also caters for all requirements, from walk-in customers to bulk supply in the catering industry.
The bakery, also located within Metro Fresh, provides tasty breads, and cakes baked from the finest ingredients, while the Deli and Food Den stocks a great range of cold meats, cheeses, mouth-watering ready-made, delicious hot and cold take-away meals.
A complimentary dairy corner offers fresh milk, and dairy products which are a great source of protein and calcium.
For those who want to take a moment to relax, Metro Cafe has light meals and refreshments for you!
Metro Home
Metro Home houses all your homeware requirements which extrudes a reflection of your design sense, including localised products, regionally sourced and imported exotic furniture to brighten any living space which is also affordable and fits your budget. The range answers your varying needs and advances comfortable furnishing options.
The store itself is designed with a contemporary look and feel, great lighting ambience with natural elements to create a welcoming and inspiring space for customers.
The two stores operate during the same trading hours as the Metro Hyper for your shopping convenience - something new, but with the same Metro service promise clients have come to trust for generations.
