Angula to head ExpressCredit Namibia
ExpressCredit Namibia has appointed Melvin Hosea Angula as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective 20 March 2026.
Angula brings extensive experience in financial services, strategy, and digital transformation, having most recently served as CEO of Letshego Micro Financial Services Namibia (LMFSN).
During his tenure, he led the organisation through strategic repositioning, strengthened governance frameworks, and improved operational performance in a challenging regulatory environment.
Angula is widely recognised for his expertise in credit risk management, operational optimisation, and building scalable lending models, as well as his focus on enhancing customer experience through financial inclusion and institutional discipline.
The ExpressCredit Board welcomed his appointment, highlighting that Angula’s leadership will be pivotal in advancing the company’s growth and strengthening its position in Namibia’s microlending sector.
Commenting on his new role, Angula said he looks forward to working with the team to enhance operations, expand access to responsible credit, and deliver sustainable value to customers.
The appointment underscores ExpressCredit’s commitment to strong leadership and promoting financial inclusion across Namibia.
