Kidzplay Day Care spreads love beyond the classroom
In a world where compassion often takes a back seat, Kidzplay Day Care and Pre-School in Osona Village is an example of what it means to serve with purpose.Founded in 2020 by a visionary principal whose heart beats for the well-being of children, the school continues to embody the belief that education is not only about teaching; it’s about nurturing the soul.
On 13 September, the dedicated Kidzplay team extended their mission of love and service beyond their own walls, reaching out to more than 200 children at Promise Land in Okahandja. With warm smiles, the team served lunch, snacks and juice, and even shared clothing with those in need. What may seem like a simple act of kindness carried deep meaning: The gift of joy, dignity and belonging to every little heart touched that day.
For the principal, Kidzplay is “dedicated to God,” and she sees herself merely as an instrument doing what He has called her to do. Her passion for every child’s growth, namely to “love, care, play, grow and learn”, shines through in every initiative the school undertakes.
Last year, Kidzplay ran a monthly outreach programme, serving meals to more than 100 children and adults in the Five Rand community, ensuring that the spirit of giving continues to ripple through Osona and beyond.
As the daycare continues to grow, it reminds us that education, when rooted in empathy and faith, becomes a force that transforms lives.
