Get ready to be employed
Field Ready officially launched its Namibian Employability Platform during Namibia National Career Week 2026, currently taking place at the Mercure Hotel in Windhoek.
The digital platform is designed to help young Namibians develop employability skills by providing access to industry-aligned training, digital learning pathways, and connections with employers across key sectors of the economy.
The launch is part of the two-day national event expected to draw over 5 000 students, graduates, and young professionals exploring education and career opportunities. Learners registering on the platform will have access to courses covering essential skills such as health and safety, digital literacy, and career readiness, equipping them to transition successfully from education into the workforce.
Field Ready has already supported more than 20 000 learners in Mozambique through its employability platform and training programmes, collaborating with industry and training partners to ensure young people develop skills that match labour market needs.
A Field Ready spokesperson said that “Namibia is entering an exciting period of economic growth and opportunity. Ensuring young Namibians have the right employability skills and access to clear career pathways is critical to supporting that growth. The Field Ready platform, developed in partnership with industry, gives young people practical tools, digital learning opportunities, and stronger connections with employers, helping them prepare for the world of work.”
