Their future in the bag

Pupkewitz Toyota donates school bags for every vehicle sold
“As the saying goes, it takes a village to raise a child. We are honoured to be a part of that village to ensure that the children of Namibia have the necessary tools to succeed academically,” says the franchise director of Pupkewitz Toyota, Etienne Steenkamp.
Pupkewitz Toyota, a sub-brand of Pupkewitz Motors, supports Namibian children by donating a bag for every vehicle sold by the dealership.
The Ministry of Education, Arts and Culture has been in collaboration with Pupkewitz Toyota since 2016 to make the #Futureinabag campaign possible.
On 12 January 2023, Pupkewitz Toyota handed over 320 school bags and pencil cases containing stationery to the children at Faith Primary School.
The campaign is an ongoing project, with the next handover taking place in the second half of the year.
“The Ministry of Education is delighted and highly appreciative by the gesture from Pupkewitz Toyota. Faith Primary School learners will make good use of the bags which will assist them in their educational journey,” Khomas Directorate of Education, Arts and Culture: Inspector of Education Milton Steven Ya Otto said.
School principal Mrs Petrus said that Pupkewitz Toyota put a smile on 320 learners’ faces. “We would like to extend our sincere gratitude for the sponsorship from Pupkewitz Toyota. This is definitely going to make a difference in each and every child’s life.”
