WIS top maths achievers awarded
Salomé Rey and Nijia Yang, learners at the Windhoek International School, were celebrated for their academic excellence and dedication in mathematics during the recent prizegiving. Their achievements were acknowledged by representatives from Old Mutual Investment Group, including Business Analyst Blessmore Chikwava.Old Mutual Unit Trust (OMUT), part of the Old Mutual Investment Group, sponsored the top two students in Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches under the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme at the Windhoek International School Awards Ceremony.
This sponsorship forms part of OMUT’s ongoing commitment to educational excellence and fostering future-ready talent in Namibia. The award recognises learners who have demonstrated outstanding performance in one of the most rigorous and globally recognised mathematics curricula.
