The N/a’an ku sê Foundation will soon be in the spotlight with its co-founder Marlice van Vuuren and veterinarian Dr. Maaike de Schepper offering a glimpse into the everyday lives of conservationists in Vet in the Wild.
The programme will start on World Animal Day on Saturday 4 October and will be broadcast weekly on the Dutch television channel, NPO 3. In the first two episodes, viewers will be able to see a lion couple being introduced to each other and an elephant being rehabilitated.
“What you see in Vet in the Wild is the daily realities at N/a’an ku sê – a place where every life matters.
“These stories show the dedication of our entire team and the extremes we will go to ensure that wild animals can get a second chance,” says Van Vuuren.
