Get ready for the Oktoberfest!

Namibia Breweries Limited (NBL) announced that the 63rd edition of the Windhoek Oktoberfest will take place on Friday and Saturday (October 27th & 28th) at the Sport Club Windhoek (SKW).
According to a media release, the Oktoberfest promises to be an exciting mix of traditional German games and entertainment for all ages on Friday and Saturday.
“The program includes the world-famous original Oktoberfest band from Munich, Die Kirchdorfer, and includes a guest appearance by the Jägermeister brass band.”
Local artists will also be featured, including the Roctober Dancers as well as Yola B, Riaan Smit and Gareth Harvey.
Peter Simons, managing director of NBL, is excited about the event and invited people from all walks of life to join in the fun.
Tickets for Oktoberfest are available at Pick'nPay branches in the country or can be purchased online via webtickets.com.na. Tickets cost N$150 in advance (N$200 at the door), while weekend passes for adults cost N$280. Tickets for children aged 6-17 cost N$50 (in advance and at the gates), and children under five can enter for free. VIP tables for the event cost N$12 500.
