Indie Fest heads to the coast

The Swakop Indie Music Festival - Easter Edition takes place at the coast on 30 March.
This family-friendly event is in support of local musicians and the Have-a-Heart Foundation.
This full-day extravaganza promises an unforgettable experience filled with live music, community spirit and family-friendly entertainment.
The Festival celebrates the diversity and creativity of independent musicians in Namibia. As a platform dedicated to promoting local talent, the festival showcases a wide range of musical genres, including blues, rock, jazz, hip-hop, pop, and even a capella. With its Easter Edition, the festival aims to create an inclusive and family-friendly environment where music lovers of all ages can come together to enjoy a day of entertainment and music.
Best of all, this festival supports an amazing charity, Have-a-Heart, by donating a percentage of proceeds to their cause. Have-a-Heart is a charity that facilitates the spaying and neutering of pets from lower-income households. This is a cause near to the heart of festival organiser and musician, Riaan Smit who is the Namibian ambassador for Have-a-Heart.
Performing artists include Riaan Smit & the ShadowKatz, Vaughn Ahrens Band, Nomad the Poet, Lin-Mari, Jessica Ashley, Jacob & Taylor, Crowd One DJs, Janelle Botha & Die Wandelaars, Sagarias Tsam, 8th Octaves A Cappella, Cassidy and more surprise acts to be announced.
The festival takes place at the Paintball Centre and Adventure Park in Swakopmund and gates open at 10:00. Early bird tickets (until 1 March) cost N$150 and N$200 thereafter via webtickets.com.na, and N$300 at the gates.
Bring your friends and family and be sure not to miss out on what promises to be the highlight of this year’s Easter weekend at the coast.
