Liefde by die Nam - Volume 3

Svenja Hecht
Windhoek comes alive with music on Saturday, when the third edition of Liefde by die Nam returns to the WHS Vegkop Stadium.
The one-day festival brings South Africa’s popular Liefde by die Dam concept to Namibia, with organisers testing the format over at least three years to establish it locally.
Co-organiser Pierre Greeff, also a member of the band Die Heuwels Fantasties, shared his connection to the country: “We have many friends here and we love the people. Namibia is special to us.”
Die Heuwels Fantasties will headline the festival. Alongside South African performers, Namibian talent will also take the stage, including Sagarias Tsam, who has been part of every edition of Liefde by die Nam.
Organisers say they have learned from past events. Logistical challenges from the first festival have been resolved, layouts refined, and décor carefully adapted. The focus remains clear: to celebrate music, community and joy.
Tickets are available through Ticketmaster. General admission costs N$395, while children aged 4 to 12 pay N$200. Limited VIP packages are also on offer. Visitors are encouraged to check entry times, parking information and ticket details ahead of the event.
With its blend of international and local acts presented on equal footing, Liefde by die Nam offers an approachable, lively festival experience that highlights both music and togetherness.
