Steps for Vets

Namibia walks for wildlife’s unsung heroes
Outdoor Centre, in collaboration with Femedia, has announced the launch of Steps for Vets, a nationwide virtual walk dedicated to supporting veterinary care for rhinos in Namibia.
The initiative invites individuals, schools, and companies to walk, jog, or run any distance, anywhere, anytime between 18 and 27 November.
“Behind every rhino that survives an injury, there’s a veterinarian who has dedicated their life to saving Namibia’s wildlife,” said Yolanda Nel, founder of Femedia. “Steps for Vets gives everyone, from school children to companies, a simple and active way to make a real difference.”
Participants can register via PayToday Event, choosing from various entry options:
• Individuals: N$100
• Kindergartens / Homeschool Groups: N$250
• Primary & High Schools: N$500
• Corporates: N$1,000
• Or simply donate any amount in support of the cause.
Once you bought your ticket or made a donation on PayToday, send a screenshot of your payment and a screenshot of your route completed to 081 250 8515 by 27 November.
