Aina Raiza Kweyo: TV presenter
Aina Raiza Kweyo, an award-winning media personality and television producer and presenter, has always been interested in the media. Kweyo was encouraged to believe in her skill, energy, and talent after seeing others like Bonang Matheba make a livelihood from them. "I was motivated by a sense of ‘not having enough’ of all I sought."A television producer or presenter is someone who is in charge of producing, developing, and supervising the production of television programmes or segments. A producer's and a presenter's jobs can be distinct, but they are sometimes merged, especially in smaller productions or when the presenter is also extensively involved in the content development process.
"I dislike being needy or relying on others to do things for me. That has inspired me to go above and beyond in order to provide for myself and my loved ones," she said.
Her most difficult task would be breaking down communication obstacles with interviewers. She believes that some people are not fluent in English and that communication gets difficult if she is not fluent in their vernacular. "The message is often lost in translation," she noted.
