Equiano Subsea Cable Activated

Paratus Namibia Introduces Enhanced Packages
With the launching of the subsea cable, Paratus announced a transformation of its product and package offerings.
Earlier this year Paratus leveraged the activation of the Equiano subsea cable, for which the company meticulously constructed a landing station, heralding a new era of value and performance in the Namibian telecommunications landscape.

Equiano's infusion of substantial capacity empowers both businesses and households across Namibia and prompted Paratus to revitalize its packages to harness the heightened speeds and expanded capabilities. This initiative also involves a substantial simplification of the product line-up, ensuring a seamless selection process for customers seeking their optimal connectivity solution.

“Fundamentally, we are amplifying capacity without altering the cost. For instance, a customer who previously subscribed to a 10Mbps connection at a specific price point can now anticipate a nearly equivalent expenditure for a 20Mbps connection. This shift is poised to profoundly elevate the satisfaction and freedom our customers experience across our diverse array of services,” said Andrew Hall, Managing Director of Paratus Namibia.

The new package options have been curated to facilitate streamlined decision-making, allowing customers to readily pinpoint the solution that impeccably aligns with their requirements.

Hall added that the availability of greater value stems from Equiano’s augmentation of both speed and capacity to the Namibian landscape. “Seizing this juncture, we have scrutinized and optimized our package line-up to cater to our customer’s preferences with greater efficiency. The Equiano subsea cable activation serves as a catalyst, enabling our upgraded packages to usher in an enriched service experience for our valued clientele.”
