Borehole for Okukuna

The City of Windhoek announce that a borehole was successfully drilled at Farm Okukuna this week.
The municipality approved drilling for the borehole at Farm Okukuna, located in Goreangab, to promote food and nutrition security.
The borehole is one of several infrastructure improvements made at Farm Okukuna to ensure a consistent and adequate water supply for all agricultural activities.
More than 100 individuals benefit from the farm's fresh produce, consumed in households, old-age homes, and soup kitchens.
The CoW thanks the United Nations Development Programme for supporting this project through the Build Back Better (BBB) Program. The BBB program aims to empower vulnerable people so that they can grow their own food.
